200-Hour Yoga Alliance-approved Wild Yoga Teacher Training with Dennis Eagan E-RYT 500
We may offer this course again in 2013. Please email info@balancedrock.org if interested in future WildYoga Teacher Trainings and Balanced Rock advanced yoga study. The first Yoga Teacher Training spanned 8 weekends from September 2011 through April 2012 in Yosemite National Park and the surrounding areas.
Yosemite is a world heritage site, celebrated as one of the most sacred places on earth. Become a certified yoga teacher in one of the most inspired and unique RYT 200 training programs in the country.
Besides in-depth practice in teaching asana, breathing, and body alignments, you will explore the natural world and the inner landscape as interwoven paths that lead us to a deeper understanding of our relationship with prana, the energy that sustains us. The training will include two Yosemite weekend expeditions as well as teaching in a yoga studio for the other 6 weekends. Throughout the training, you will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence you need to become an exceptional certified yoga teacher in any environment you choose.

Praise for Dennis Eagan
"Dennis is much more than a yoga instructor in my life. His knowledge and the philosophy he emits on the interconnectedness of all beings bring great value that go far beyond any yoga practice. He is one of the most accepting and compassionate people that I have ever learned from, and I am beyond honored to have him as a teacher. The lessons learned under his guidance have honestly changed my outlook on everything "
"I am not the same person I was when I started the teacher-training program. Dennis has taught me that there is so much more to yoga then I ever imagined. I am forever grateful to him."
"I really appreciate Dennis’ depth of knowledge of both yoga as a discipline, and of the body's alignment and dynamics. He communicates those things with both clarity and patience to students of all levels, which is a rare quality."
"Dennis Eagan is one of the best teachers I have had in any discipline. Not only does he teach from a deep love of yoga, he brings to teacher training a culture of non-competition, co-operation and curiosity so that learning on the deepest levels can occur. I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to study with him."
"Dennis' extensive knowledge of yoga and positive energy is powerful. Dennis creates a safe and encouraging environment where practices deepen, and obstacles and perceived discomfort are conquered. His passion for yoga, especially green yoga, is true as is his commitment and love for the environment.
I remain forever happy, forever honored and forever changed to be one of his students."
