In our busy lives we often move too quickly to experience life fully. On a Balanced Rock course we slow things down to create space for awareness and appreciation. Our courses offer safe and supportive environments for new learning and personal discovery. Awaken your senses, become inspired, and find balance in the exquisite beauty of Yosemite on a Balanced Rock retreat.

Our backpack journeys, weekend camping retreats, dayhikes, and lodge-based programs focus on a theme rather than on covering miles. We pair a local Yosemite naturalist and wilderness guide with proven leaders in yoga, meditation, art, and wilderness therapy. Our courses are generally appropriate for all levels of experience.

For those who would like a more in-depth experience, Balanced Rock is now offering a 200-hour Wild Yoga Teacher Training with Dennis Eagan E-RYT 500 for 8 weekends from September 2011 - April 2012! This unique training program pairs nature with yoga on an exploration of interconnected prana.
