MEET JUNE
June McCrory is a certified grief recovery specialist, performing artist, and mother of two whose work centers on creativity and compassionate presence. Since moving from the California coast to the Sierra Foothills in 2021, she has developed a deep affection for the scents and subtle hues of Mariposa’s trees, creeks, and meadows, and brings that care into her work with others.
June is the founder of Juniper Restorative Movement and has offered multiple community-based grief programs in Mariposa, including a four-week series Helping Children with Loss and an eight-week Grief Support Group hosted at the Mariposa Library.
During the Art, Nature & Wellness Program’s immersive cohort, June will offer Grief, Loss, and Change, a one-day gentle, creative process for acknowledging loss, transition, and uncertainty as well as being available for optional one-on-one mentorship.
