MEET JUNE

June McCrory is a certified grief recovery specialist, performing artist, and mother of two whose work centers on creativity and compassionate presence. Since moving from the California coast to the Sierra Foothills in 2021, she has developed a deep affection for the scents and subtle hues of the Sierra Foothills.

June is the founder of Juniper Restorative Movement and has offered multiple community-based grief programs in Mariposa, including one on one sessions and an eight-week Grief Support Group hosted at the Mariposa Library.

During the Art, Nature & Wellness Program’s immersive cohort, June will offer Grief, Loss, and Change—a day to tenderly acknowledge loss, transition, and life’s ever-unfolding growth. June’s embodied approach weaves creative expression and reflection while unearthing common misunderstandings about grief and loss to support emotional release, subtle perspective shifts, and a sense of renewal. She will also be available for optional one-on-one mentorship.
