MEET JOSH

Josh joins us as an Adventure Guide for our Yosemite Day Hikes & Tours!

Josh Holmes is an avid lover of the outdoors who helps visitors create lifelong memories and intimate connections with Yosemite.

During a 2-week vacation to rock climb in Yosemite Valley and Tuolumne Meadows, a chance encounter with the then director of the Yosemite Ski School, Nic Firore, resulted in a lasting friendship led to a series of events that shaped his life into one dedicated to meditation, mindfulness, and sharing his passion for Yosemite with others.

In his 24 years of tenure here in Yosemite, Josh has experienced summers living and working in the Tuolumne Meadows and High Sierra Camps as a Chef and a Carpenter, as well as instructing skiing and snowboarding at Badger Pass.

A day in the park with Josh will be a lasting memory filled with smiles and meaningful connections.
