  • In a world of constant notifications, rapid communication, and increasing demands on our attention, the simple practice of letter writing offers a powerful pathway back to presence, clarity, and connection.

This two-hour experiential workshop explores the art of handwritten correspondence as a tool for cultivating resilience, emotional well-being, creativity, and focused attention.

Through guided reflection, writing prompts, and practical exercises, participants will discover how intentional letter writing can help reduce stress, organize thoughts, process emotions, strengthen relationships, and create moments of calm amid busy lives. Whether writing to oneself, a loved one, a mentor, or even to future possibilities, the act of putting pen to paper invites deeper self-awareness and meaningful expression.

Participants will learn how letter writing can support nervous system regulation, enhance mindfulness, foster creativity, and build personal resilience during times of challenge and transition. No prior writing experience is necessary—only curiosity and a willingness to slow down and engage with the written word.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with practical letter-writing practices they can incorporate into daily life to support balance, focus, connection, and emotional resilience.

    What to Expect:

    • Guided exercises in reflective and expressive letter writing

    • Techniques for using writing to reduce stress and increase focus

    • Creative prompts to inspire self-discovery and imagination

    • Exploration of letter writing as a mindfulness and resilience practice

    • Time for personal writing and optional sharing

    • Stamps if you want to send your letter

Join us as we rediscover the transformative power of the written letter and learn how this timeless practice can help us move from burnout toward greater balance, creativity, and well-being.

  • These sessions will be offered in various locations in the Yosemite area:
